Unblur video online, free, no watermark
Make a blurry, small or over-compressed clip look clean: the AI rebuilds edges and detail at up to four times the resolution.
This unblur tool runs frame by frame on our own GPU, your original audio is copied over untouched, and you get one plain MP4 back. No account, no watermark, 20 seconds free.

No watermark on the free export. Up to 20 seconds free, upscaled 4×: a 640×360 clip comes back at 2560×1440.
How to unblur a video
Nothing to install and no account. The upload is deleted right after processing and the result is wiped within 45 minutes.
- Pick Upscale it 4× in the tool above.
- Drop in an MP4, MOV or WebM of up to 20 seconds (more with a pass).
- Wait while it runs on our GPU. A frame counter or the queue position shows where it is.
- Download one MP4, original audio included.
If you only want the clip bigger, the AI video upscaler page covers the same tool. For a soft clip that should simply look better, the video quality enhancer page is the same pass again.
Before and after: a blurry 360p clip
Test clip: a 4 second piece of a CC0 phone video (Benoit Prieur, Wikimedia Commons), shrunk to 640×360, softened and compressed hard to look like old footage. Both crops are 1:1 pixels from the 2560×1440 frame, so what you see is what you get.

Edges are cleaner and the compression blocks are gone. It is not a miracle: fine texture that the blur erased is smoothed, not recovered.
What it can unblur, and what it cannot
It helps with footage that is blurry because it is small, soft or over-compressed: old phone clips, VHS transfers, clips downloaded years ago, screen recordings saved at a low bitrate.
- Works well: low resolution, soft sensors, compression blur and mild noise.
- Does not fix: a subject that was out of focus when filmed.
- Does not fix: strong motion blur from fast movement or a shaky camera.
- Does not invent faces or text that were never captured.
It works frame by frame with no memory between frames, so very noisy footage can shimmer slightly.
Limits and what a pass adds
These numbers are read from the server, so the page cannot promise more than the upload accepts.
- Free: up to 20 seconds, up to 1080p in, output up to 2560×1440 (1440p), 2 upscales a day, no watermark.
- Free monthly pass (leave your email): up to 60 seconds, same resolution, 5 upscales a day.
- ShinobiTools pass: up to 3 minutes, output up to 3840×2160 (4K), 10 upscales a day.
Clips up to 640 pixels on the longest side are enlarged four times (640×360 becomes 2560×1440). Larger clips are enlarged at most twice, so a 1080p clip does not reach 4K on the free tier. Every clip uses real graphics card time, which is why length is what a pass pays for. Clips cost the same GPU time whether they come from this page or the video upscaler page, and each one counts toward the same daily limit.
Unblur a video free: why there is a limit
Every frame goes through the model, so the cost grows with the length of the clip. The cards are ours, not rented by the minute, which is why 20 free seconds without a watermark is possible. Need longer? Trim in the video editor first, or get a pass.

Common questions
Can you unblur a video?
Partly. If the blur comes from low resolution, soft focus from a small sensor or heavy compression, the upscaler rebuilds edges and detail and the clip looks clearly cleaner. If the footage is out of focus or smeared by fast motion, the detail was never recorded, so it stays blurry. We say this up front because most tools do not.
Is it free to unblur a video online?
Yes: clips up to 20 seconds are free, with no watermark and no account, up to 2 upscales a day. An email for the free monthly pass raises the length to 60 seconds, and a ShinobiTools pass to 3 minutes.
What resolution do I get back?
A clip up to 640 pixels on its longest side comes back four times bigger (640x360 becomes 2560x1440). A larger clip is processed at its own size, up to 1080p in, and comes back at up to twice the size: 2560x1440 free, up to 3840x2160 with a pass.
How long does it take?
It runs on our own GPU. A 4 second 360p test clip took about 3 seconds of GPU time on the day we measured it. The queue adds waiting time, and longer or larger clips take proportionally longer.
Is it the same as the video upscaler page?
Same tool and same limits, explained for a different problem. If you just want a bigger clip, see the video upscaler; if you want a softer clip to look cleaner, this page is the one.
Are my videos stored?
No. The upload is deleted right after processing and the result is wiped within 45 minutes.
